For the last 15 years Banderas, Texas (the self-entitled "Cowboy Capital of the World") has held their own version of a Cowboy Mardi Gras. Local cowboys and ranchers put on their best purple outfits with beads and enjoy the rodeo, street fair and late night cowboy bars.
